Our Hotel is a fully restored Venetian Stone property: during world war II, Crete was attacked and it was the first time in history that a large-scale attack was carried out with paratroopers without intervention of land troops. It was destroyed, only a 90 cm wide surrounding wall remained standing, but the house was so important for the city that the government pay to the family to rebuilt the house, for her historical value.

We are a small Boutique Hotel with five spacious suites, a rooftop terrace and jacuzzi; secluded, relaxed and private stays are guaranteed, located in Splantzia…

Our beautiful rooftop terrace is the ideal place to have breakfast or just chill and take the sun in a very quiet space perfect to relax, now with our recent added Hot tub invite you to relax and unwind in an intimate and romantic escape. (The schedule of the terrace is from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm due to neighborhood laws).

Our unique property representative of the Byzantine era combines the Cretan culture with the Ottoman and Venetian style in order to immerse the guest into the culture and history of Crete; it has been renovated with all the modern amenities, but still retains the atmosphere of the Cretan past. Beautiful vintage pieces and historical architectural features are combined with modern facilities, to offer absolute comfort and an unforgettable stay.

We are 76 km away from Elafonisi beach, better known as “the pink sand beach”, and just 59 km away from Falassarna, considered as 1 of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Europe.

Chania (Χανιά), stands out for its architecture and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage that is breathed in each of its cobbled streets and places to visit.

Chania is considered as one of the most beautiful cities in Greece and the most picturesque on the Island of Crete, the birthplace of Zeus and the origin of the Greek mythology. It retains all its splendor that we can appreciate in its old buildings. The different architectural styles are found in a melting pot of cultures, Byzantine, Ottoman, Roman and Venetian. Its narrow streets full of light, color and impregnated with floral fragrance, seem to unfold around a Venetian fishing port, guarded by walls and an old lighthouse, where time seems stopped or at least that is the sensation that transmits us when we contemplating his imperturbable beauty.

The «Old Town» consists of the old Venetian Harbour and the small Venetian blocks located behind the Harbour; it is characterized by narrow and picturesque alleys ,similar to an enchanting labyrinth, full of life, and the plentiful remaining Venetian and Turkish buildings. The Lighthouse, the Fortress of Firka, the Mosque of Kioutsouk Hasan, the Great Arsenali and the Neoria have become landmarks of the city and are located in a walking distance from our House. This means we are located in the heart of Chania Old Town!
