Our home is a fully restored Venetian Stone house: during world war II, Crete was attacked and it was the first time in history that a large-scale attack was carried out with paratroopers without intervention of land troops.
Our property was destroyed, only a 90 cm wide surrounding wall remained standing, but the house was so important for the city that the government pay to the family to rebuilt the house, for her historical value.
Venetian Palace Chania is 300 m2 and is located in Splantzia, the heart of Chania Old Town.

Our beautiful terrace is the ideal place to have breakfast or just chill and take the sun in a very quiet space perfect to relax (the schedule of the terrace is from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm due to neighborhood laws).
Our unique property representative of the Byzantine era combines the Cretan culture with the Ottoman and Venetian style in order to immerse the guest into the culture and history of Crete; it has been renovated with all the modern amenities, but still retains the atmosphere of the Cretan past.
Our front massive wooden double doors and their locks are the original ones and you´ll find them at the main entrance of the property; they open into a large vestibule, from there stone steps descend into a cool open plan area, while a staircase curves up to their first floor and a massive 6m high ceiling beams. This is a very comfortable place to relax, it´s always fresh in summer time.
This open plan living area consists of a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room, above this open area is a wooden mezzanine floor, reached by another winding staircase with a marvelous wooden balustrade, this is currently used as a studio room with a double sofa bed and it has a full bathroom near.
On the second floor mahogany doors opens to our very spacious suites with their own ensuite bathroom, one of them has a very charming terrace and looks out onto the quiet alleyway at the front of the property. On the top floor a veranda overlooking the 2 minarets of the old town and the white mountains “Lefka Ori”.
Beautiful vintage pieces and historical architectural features are combined with modern facilities, to offer absolute comfort and an unforgettable stay.
We are 76 km away from Elafonisi beach, better known as “the pink sand beach”, and just 59 km away from Falassarna, considered as 1 of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Europe.

Nuestra propiedad es una Casa Veneciana de piedra totalmente restaurada: durante la segunda guerrea mundial, Creta fue atacada y fue la primera vez en la historia que un ataque a gran escala se realizaba únicamente con tropas en paracaídas sin la intervención de tropas por tierra.
Nuestra propiedad fue destruida y solo una pared de 90 cm de ancho que rodea la casa permaneció de pie, pero la casa era tan importante para la ciudad que el gobierno pago a la familia propietaria para que la casa fuera reconstruida dado a su valor histórico.
Venetian Palace Chania tiene 300 m2 y está localizada en Splantzia, el corazón de Chania Old Town.

Nuestra hermosa terraza es el lugar ideal para tomar desayuno o para relajarse y tomar el sol en un lugar muy tranquilo; (el horario de la terraza es de 7:00 am a 2:30 pm y de 6:00 pm a 9:00 pm debido a políticas del vecindario).
Nuestra propiedad representativa de la era Bizantina, combina la cultura creta con la otomana y el estilo veneciano, todo esto empapa al huésped de cultura e historia de Creta; la casa ha sido renovada con todas las amenidades modernas, pero conserva la atmosfera de una Creta del pasado.
Puertas dobles de madera con sus cerraduras, todo original, se encuentran en la entrada principal de la propiedad; estas puertas abren a un gran vestíbulo, de ahí encuentra escalones de piedra que descienden a la sala de estar, con piso de piedra y enormes vigas de techo. Es un espacio muy cómodo para relajarse y permanece siempre fresco en la época de verano.
Toda esta área común consiste de una cocinada totalmente equipada, comedor y sala, encima de esta área un entresuelo de madera en donde se acondicionó el estudio con una cama doble y tiene un baño completo cerca.
En el segundo piso puertas de caoba abren a nuestras espaciosas suites, las cuales cuentan con su propio baño, una tiene vista a un callejón muy tranquilo que se encuentra frente a la propiedad y la otra cuenta con una pequeña terraza.
En el último piso se encuentra la terraza con vistas a los dos minaretes del puerto antiguo y las montañas blancas “Lefka Ori”, equipada con sala de estar, comedor y camastros, espectacular lugar para relajarse.
Hermosas piezas de la época antigua y características arquitectónicas históricas se combinan con instalaciones modernas, para ofrecer un confort absoluto y una estancia inolvidable.
Estamos ubicados a 76 km de la playa de Elafonisi mejor conocida como la playa de la arena rosa, y a sólo 59 km de Falassarna catalogada como una de las mejores 10 playas de Europa.
